A Clean Cup of Joe
When preparing hot beverages for guests and attendees, you’ll want to make sure you brew the best tasting beverages possible. Clean the coffeemaker so that it is free from leftover residue. Run one part water with one part distilled white vinegar through the machine for a crisp cup of coffee for guests.
The Spill-Free Pour
Serve your guests well with an elegant pour. Tilt the carafe forward slowly and gently, and curve the spout toward the inside of the cup to avoid any hot splashes. Fill the cup three-fourths of the way, and then slowly pull the carafe toward you.
Filter The Aroma
Enhance the taste of your favorite brand of coffee by straying from tap water that can leave your guests with a bland or distasteful aftertaste. Use filtered water to bring out the richness of the brew.
Mix and Match
Mix and match your favorite coffee flavors by brewing two separate k-cups and combine the brews. Your guests may have varying tastes and providing options for the eclectic is often a crowd-pleaser.
Just the Right Storage
When expecting a crowd, store your coffee cup containers in a space that is room temperature. Plastic cups placed in extreme heat may begin to melt and leave an aftertaste that is less than appealing.
Avoid the mess, and opt for single-serve creamer containers that are easy to use and toss. Guests waiting in line to use one or two containers of creamer can delay the start of your event.
Sweeten The Deal
Your guests likely have different preferences when it comes to the taste of their coffee. Offer options with a variety of sweeteners, flavored creamers and even spices such as cinnamon, vanilla extract or coconut milk.
